These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Record2Text provided by Aybilge OÜ. By using Record2Text, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Service

   Record2Text provides AI-assisted audio transcription and summarization features, including optional subscription-based premium functionality. The service may evolve over time, and we may add, remove, or modify features to improve security, reliability, and user experience.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

   You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

   You agree not to use the app for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, and you must not upload content you are not legally permitted to process. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise app infrastructure, nor circumvent technical controls or subscription and payment mechanisms. We may suspend or restrict access where misuse, security risk, or legal non-compliance is detected.

4. Permissions and Device Access Record2Text requests only permissions required for core operation, specifically the microphone for audio recording and storage or media library access for uploading existing audio. The app does not require contacts, GPS/location, or camera permissions for normal operation.
5. AI Features and OpenAI The app uses OpenAI API services to deliver transcription and summarization functionality. AI outputs can be imperfect and should be reviewed before business, legal, medical, or safety-critical use. You remain responsible for how you use AI-generated outputs.
6. Subscription, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription prices, taxes, billing cycles, and renewal rules are determined by the respective store. You can manage, cancel, or change subscriptions through your Apple or Google account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and Aybilge OÜ does not have direct authority to issue store-managed refunds. For billing disputes, you should contact the Apple App Store or Google Play support first.

7. Intellectual Property

   All rights in Record2Text, including software, branding, design, and content excluding user-provided input, are owned by Aybilge OÜ or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

8. Privacy

   and Data Processing Your use of Record2Text is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how data is processed, retained, and deleted.

9. Account Deletion You may delete your account via the in-app “Delete My Account” flow. Upon a successful deletion flow, data under app-controlled systems is removed according to our Privacy Policy and technical architecture, including backend records and device-side cleanup steps. Store operators and payment processors may retain legally required transaction records independently of app account deletion.
10. Service Availability and Changes We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at all times. Maintenance, outages, third-party disruptions, or force majeure events may impact availability.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Record2Text is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aybilge OÜ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from the use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted.

13. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aybilge OÜ from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the app or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

    and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by applicable law determined by mandatory consumer protection rules and the jurisdiction relevant to Aybilge OÜ operations, unless otherwise required by law. If a dispute arises, parties should first seek an amicable resolution by contacting us.

15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes become effective upon publication in the app or on our website, with an updated effective date.
