MADE FOR THE MOMENT
A little closer. A little more connected.
When the usual networks disappear, the people around you can become the network. Send a message, check in with your group or share a call for help.
Messages that find a way
Phones connect over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi, passing messages from person to person. When a route is unavailable, messages wait for a way through.
Private conversations
End-to-end encrypted private and group chats, photos and voice messages. Verify contacts in person with a QR code and choose whether to send read receipts.
A voice for your neighbourhood
Talk in the General channel or public topic channels. See who is directly connected, reachable through the mesh or previously seen nearby.
Help within reach
Hold to send an SOS with your needs, location and battery level. See nearby calls and a compass direction, or let others know “I’m safe”. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Knowledge, even offline
A searchable survival guide with 64 topics in 11 categories, from first aid to water and shelter. Available offline in all 20 app languages.
Your phone. Your data.
No account, servers, ads, analytics or tracking. Control permissions, block unwanted contacts and erase your local data. Android background relay and power saving help you stay connected.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
Every phone becomes a connection.
Connect. Relay. Deliver.
Every phone running NearEcho can send, receive and pass messages on. Phones discover each other over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi. If someone is beyond direct range, the phones in between carry the message. If no route is available, messages wait until a participating phone gets closer.
More than a text message.
Start private and group conversations, share compressed photos and voice messages, or choose a quick message when words are hard to find. Share your location when you choose, follow delivery status and see how many phones a message has passed through.
Prepared for difficult moments.
Describe what you need in an SOS, add the number of people with you and a short note. Your location, its accuracy and battery level accompany the call when available. Active calls repeat every two minutes until stopped. Nearby calls show distance and a compass direction; a flashing screen and vibration can help others locate you.
NearEcho is not an emergency service. Message delivery, including SOS calls, cannot be guaranteed. Call your local emergency number whenever possible. The offline survival guide provides general information, not a substitute for professional help or first-aid training.
Private by design. Open when it matters.
Private and group messages use end-to-end encryption; relaying phones cannot read their contents. General and public channels, SOS calls and “I’m safe” broadcasts are deliberately public so people nearby can help. No messages, contacts or location are sent to Aybilge servers.
Speak your language.
NearEcho supports 20 languages, including English and Turkish, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic, Persian and Urdu. The survival guide is available in every app language, with search that works offline.

A FEW MORE DETAILS
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Does NearEcho need internet or mobile data?
No. Phones connect directly over Bluetooth, or through the same local Wi-Fi network or hotspot. The network does not need internet access.
Does it work between iPhone and Android?
Yes. NearEcho is designed for iPhone and Android phones to connect and relay each other’s messages. Both store releases are coming soon.
How far does it reach?
Bluetooth typically reaches about 50–100 metres outdoors, less indoors. Range depends on devices and obstacles. Other phones relay messages to extend the network; phones on the same Wi-Fi network or hotspot can also connect.
What if the recipient is not nearby?
Messages wait on your phone and relaying phones until a route opens. Private and group messages can be carried for up to 48 hours. Delivery depends on nearby participating phones and is not guaranteed.
Can other people read my messages?
Private and group messages are end-to-end encrypted. General and public channels, SOS calls and “I’m safe” broadcasts are readable by everyone nearby by design. Avoid sharing private information publicly.
Does it replace emergency services?
No. NearEcho is a communication aid, not an emergency service. An SOS may not reach anyone who can help. Whenever possible, call your local emergency number and follow official guidance.
Is it free?
Yes. All communication and emergency features are free, without ads or a subscription. Optional support purchases may be offered through the app stores.
How does it use my battery?
NearEcho uses Bluetooth Low Energy. Power saving reduces scanning; Android can keep relaying through an optional background service. It works best when nearby users have the app open.
